Primavera Sound Barcelona
A staple music festival in Europe, Primavera Sound is renowned for its eclectic mix of acts that appeal to a wide range of tastes. This year’s headliners include Lana Del Rey, SZA and FKA Twigs alongside Vampire Weekend, Mitski, Bikini Kill and PJ Harvey. Also appearing are Troye Sivan, Disclosure and Deftones.

Way Out West
Way Out West has been filling Gothenburg’s luscious Slottsskogen park with music and culture since 2007, and has built a strong reputation for itself as an outpost of curated, cultured festival luxury. The line-ups are always impressive – and the food (and vegetarian options) is great too – but it’s also one of the most eco-friendly festivals around.
The 2024 edition kicked off with a bang thanks to irate, political Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers and trip-hop legends Massive Attack, both of whom delivered tumultuous shows that were just as powerful as they were challenging. The Down The Drain-promoted event has confirmed Massive Attack, Troye Sivan, Unkendt Kunstner, Coi Leray and Kaytranada to perform across the festival’s three days. Meanwhile, Sweden Rock has added 18 artists to their lineup – think Judas Priest, Alice Cooper, Parkway Drive, Avantasia and Bruce Dickinson. More names are set to be added soon.
